Ministry

In my free time, I was leading various non-profit organizations (Advent Hope Sabbath School {Associate Director}, Restoration Ministry {President}, AudioVerse {Marketing and Media Acquisitions Director}, Camp Winnekeag {Assistant Director} and Freedom From Fear {CEO}). I learned how to get things done by inspiring great people around me to attempt something bigger than themselves. I have been reading a ton of books, every Sunday for six years now, on sales, marketing, human resource management, leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation, and finance for free at Barnes and Nobles (I have bought a few of the books, so not a total freeloader). I applied the lessons learned in these books in my non-profit organizations. What I learned boils down to this: solve problems that others can’t or don’t want to, be good at finding great people who are willing to be great leaders, be honest and competitive, and be sustainable and profitable. God really blessed me and my fellow leaders during these years and together we were able to leave these non-profits profitable, well-staffed, and their events well attended.

In addition to the ministries and non-profits mentioned above, I support and consult for GYC, (a youth initiated and led movement of Seventh-day Adventists from diverse backgrounds, united in a common commitment to serious Bible study, intense prayer, uncompromising lifestyle, and boldness in sharing Christ with others) and for AudioVerse.Org, the most visited sermon website in the Adventist Church today. I also created The Ministry Idea Website, a website where you can share your ministry ideas and others might read and implement them.
